オペラ姫 / opera hime
Also known as TOM-TOM. I'm half Japanese and half Caucasian. Currently attending college. I love music. Been associated with music all my life. My dad used to be in a rock band before I was born and my family is musically talented in their own way. My brother even taught himself how to play the guitar. When I was 10 years old, living in Misawa, Japan, I wanted to be musically talented in some way, so I asked my parents about playing the piano. That's when I got into classical music. I loved playing the piano so much, that later on I received my own clavinova piano who I call, Piko. I called the piano that, because when I first played it's keys, it always made a 'piko, piko' sound. Three years later, I moved to the U.S. and continued my piano lessons. Until one day, I quit. It was hard for me to connect to music with the teachers I've been getting lessons from. Years gone by and I never touched my piano again. Now, I'm trying to learn how to play the piano on my own. I realized that I threw away something that I loved doing. Aside from piano, I love to sing. Ever since sophomore year in high school, I joined Musical Theatre and soon was able to show a lot of confidence thanks to that class. My favorite part of that class was the singing. That was when I was known as a 'soprano'. I have many inspirations. What I'd like on the side of my future career, is to have a huge part in the music industry. My life isn't the best, but I think life is wonderful, no matter what form it takes. The help of my mom, a cancer survivor and my dad, friends, family, and maybe one day; fans.
